Mexican Cheese Ball

Cheese balls are great for parties! This recipe combines cream cheese spread with cheddar and jalapeno, and is rolled in crushed tortilla.

  • 1 Cup PUCK White Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1 Cup Cheddar cheese, Grated, sharp flavoured
  • 1/4 Cup Jalepeno, Finely chopped, well drained
  • 2 Spring Onions, Finely sliced
  • 1 Cup Tortilla, chips, crushed
  • Tortilla, chips,to serve
  • Red Pepper, strips, to serve
  • Green pepper, strips, to serve

Place the cream cheese spread, grated cheese, jalapeno and spring onion in a food processor. Pulse until smooth.

Line a bowl with plastic wrap. Spoon the mixture into the bowl, cover and chill for several hours, until firm.

Just before serving, cover the ball in the crushed tortilla chips. Serve on a platter accompanied by the tortilla chips and vegetable strips.
