Lugueimat stuffed with Puck Cream Cheese Spread

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Milk
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Vegetables oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Yeast
  • 1/2 Cup Walnuts
  • 100 Grams (gm) PUCK White Cream Cheese Spread, Cooked
  • 3 Cups Vegetables oil
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Rose water
  • Nuts, for decoration
  • Chira, for decoration

Instructions

In a bowl, mix the milk with vegetable oil

On a side bowl, mix the flour with the yeast

Cut the walnuts into small pieces

Unfold the dough and cut it in a circular way

Put a tablespoon of cooked Puck cheese in each circle and sprinkle with walnuts and then form it a circle

Fry it in vegetable oil to get a golden color

To prepare the Syrup, Place the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Simmer for 5 minutes without stirring. Stir in the lemon juice and rosewater and remove from the heat. Leave to cool

Dip in the fried balls in the Syrup, then top it with walnuts and Chira
