Hawaiian Cheese Dip

• • Place the cream cheese and cheddar in a food processor and process until smooth. Transfer into a bowl.
  • Cut the pineapple in half lengthwise and scoop out the flesh, leaving the shell of the pineapple intact. Chop the pineapple finely and drain to remove excess juice. Cover the empty pineapple halves with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  • Blot the peppers with kitchen paper towel, to remove excess liquid. Stir the pineapple, peppers, spring onion and nuts into the cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate until firm.
  • Spoon the cheese mixture into the pineapple shells to serve, accompanied by the pretzels and bread sticks.
