Creamy Cheese Dip Loaf

This is a unique way to serve a cheese dip.

Ingredients

  • 2 Teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 100 Grams (gm) Beef Salami, Diced
  • 3 Spring Onions, Thinly sliced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
  • 1 Cup PUCK White Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1/4 Cup Swiss cheese, Grated
  • 3 Tablespoons Parsley, Finely chopped
  • 500 Grams (gm) Country Bread
  • Olive Oil, Spray
  • Crostini and crudités, To Serve

Preheat oven to 180 ° C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Heat olive oil in a small frying pan; add the diced salami and fry for 2-3 minutes, until salami is crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towel.

In a bowl, mix together ¾ of the salami, ¾ of the spring onions, garlic, cream cheese spread, Swiss cheese and parsley. Stir well to combine.

Cut the top of the loaf of bread and scoop bread from the centre of the loaf. Fill the loaf with the cheese mixture. Spray the rim of the bread with oil. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden. Top with reserved salami and spring onion and serve with crostini and crudités.
