Baguette with steak, pickles and caramelized onions

A combination of flavours that compliment the richness of Puck Cream cheese for a delicious result.
Instructions
Caramelize the onions. In a large pan, heat 4 tablespoons olive oil. Add onions and a pinch of salt, cook on a low heat, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes. When onions become soft, add sugar and cook further 5-10 more minutes.
Fry the steak. Season the meat with salt and pepper. Preheat the skillet well, sear 2 minutes each side on high heat then reduce the heat and keep cooking up to desired state (about 4-6 minutes each side depending on the thickness of meat). After it’s done, move the meat on a cutting board and give it rest 10 minutes, then cut.
Construct the sandwich. With serrated knife prepare the baguette: remove the tips, divide into 4 pieces and cut each part to “open” the bread.
Spread the cream cheese, put a salad leaf, add meat, cucumber and caramelized onions.
