Pizza Samboosa

A twist on a traditional dish

Ingredients

  • Diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/2 Cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/4 Cup pitted and sliced black olives
  • 1/2 Cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 diced mushrooms
  • 1/4 Cup diced pepperoni
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato Puree
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 Cups PUCK Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • samboosa sheets

Instructions

Step

In a pan over high heat sauté the onion with olive oil for a minute then add the garlic

Add all the other diced veggies and sauté for 5 minutes

Add salt and pepper and oregano then remove from the heat and let cool.

Fill your samboosa with 1 tbsp. of the filling and Puck low fat mozzarella cheese

Fold into a triangle (the traditional samboosa folding technique) brush with vegetable oil and put it in a hot oven under the broiler, when they are golden from one side flip them to the other side to get crispy.

Remove from the oven and enjoy
