Salmon and Cream Cheese Bruschetta

When you have a gathering, these bite size hor d'oeuvres are quick to make and easy to impress. The smoked salmon, compliments the creamy cheese beautifully and balances out the flavours just right

Main Ingredients

  • 1 Cup PUCK White Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1 Black Sesame Crusted Baguette
  • 100 Grams (gm) Smoked Salmon
  • 1 Teaspoon Black Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

Secondary Ingredients

  • Lurpak Cooking Mist, for baking
  • Pickled Caper Bulbs, for garnish
  • Dill, few sprigs for garnish
  • Black Sesame Seeds, sprinkle for garnish
  • Black Pepper, freshly crushed

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Segment the baguette diagonally to get large oval-shaped slices. Spray the LURPAK Cooking Mist and toast in the oven for 10 minutes till the bread has turned golden and crusty.

In a large bowl, mix the PUCK Cream Cheese Spread with lemon juice and black sesame seeds.

Once the baguette comes to room temperature, spread each slice with the cream cheese mixture and top with a slice of smoked salmon, a couple of caper bulbs, a sprinkle of black sesame and freshly crushed black pepper. Garnish with a sprig of dill and serve.
