Beehive Cake

Instructions

• • Mix the flour, oil, sugar, salt and yoghurt in a big bowl.
  • Knead the batter until smooth
  • Dissolve the yeast in a cup of warm water with a sprinkle of sugar and when it starts bubbling add in the dough and mix well, adding more warm water if needed
  • Let the dough rest for two hours and then wet your hands with oil and take a small piece of the dough and stuff it with cheese then roll it to the shape of a ball
  • Repeat the process to form as many dough balls as you wish to be in the beehive cake
  • Place the stuffed balls in a large pan next to each other
  • Let them rest for 15 minutes then bake on medium heat for 15-20 minutes until the balls are puffy and golden brown in colour
