  • 500-600 Grams (gm) Minced Meat, (beaf or lamb)
  • 1 Tablespoon Kabsa spice mix
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 Onion, medium brown, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
  • Olive Oil, for frying
  • 10-12 Cherry Tomatoes, Halved
  • 1 Handful Pine Nuts
  • Mint, leaves, fresh
  • Pinch Salt

Caramelize the onions: In a large pan, heat the 4-5 tbsp of olive oil. Add onions and a pinch of salt, cook on a low heat, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes. When onions become soft, add sugar and cook further 5-10 more minutes.

Cook the mince: Preheat the olive oil in a pan, put the meat, add salt and spice mix. Stirr well. Cook on medium heat constantly stirring until the meat is ready, about 12-15 minutes.

Construct the wrap: In the center of the bread spread the cream cheese. Then put the mincemeat, onions, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and mint leaves. Fold.
